2. In sys-Tray exit IDM (if it is running)
3. then Double-click the Installer to install

TIPS HOW TO PUT YOUR NAME IN IDM

1. go to start

2. Run

3. type regedit

4. Then go to this path "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Internet Download Manager" or "HKEY_LCURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Internet Download Manager"

5. Inside IDM folder, you will see "FName,LName" Double click or right click and select Modify

6. then type the Name you want

7. Ok

open IDM and proceed to Help > About IDM

TRY THIS TO SPEED UP YOUR (IDM) INTERNET DOWNLOAD MANAGER

1. Go to your IDM

2. click option

3. click connection

4. in connection type,select other

note: u will notice the speed indicates as 999999999 

5. in start button, type regedit, hit enter for (win 7) users

s start button, click run, type regedit, hit enter for (win xp) users

6. In regedit, proceed to HKEY_CURRENT _USER/Software/DownloadManager and click it

7. In DownloadManager, find ConnectionSpeed,double click it

8. Click decimal, iyou will see 999999999, then just add another 9..

9. click ok, dialogue box will appear, click yes

Now you're done! You can check it, Go to IDM then click 'option', click "connection'..make sure that 999999999 changed to 4294967295..
